True Green Smoothie is a blend of kiwis, pineapple, kale, spirulina, hemp seeds, coconut, dairy free, yogurt and almond milk and packed with fiber, vitamins A, K and C. The pineapple offers anti-inflammatory and digestive aid properties. I’ve added just ½ tsp of spirulina, but certainly add more if you are used to it. Spirulina is a gold mine of nutrients including calcium, iron, magnesium and B vitamins, as well as promoting healthy cholesterol levels. Bottoms up!
Next week I’ll begin my Cozy Bowls series!
